Niles Security Clips block the bad guys

Faster, stronger and easier to use… Niles Fence and Security has upgraded our security clips for security mesh to a whole new level.

Niles Fence and Security has redesigned their security clips adding strength and efficiency by altering their original design to include a new recessed diamond that “locks” into the diamond pattern of the expanded metal security mesh.

The new design will not only allow installers to work faster, but by locking into our classic diamond patterns, you will be able to assure no movement during overlay applications.

Niles Security Clips are intended to be used to hold our expanded metal security mesh to metal or wood studs inside of a wall. Typically, the mesh wall is then covered with drywall or other materials for final finishing. At the end of the day, the security mesh enforced wall creates a double layer barrier when mesh is added to both the attack and interior wall.

Niles Security Mesh and Security Clips will help block attackers from easily cutting through standard interior walls and ceilings.

Security concerns at an urban parking facility are solved using high security expanded metal mesh.  Estherlee Fence Company in Lima, Ohio put together a design-build solution to increase the safety of students and faculty at Youngstown State University.

According to Jamie Rutecki at Estherlee Fence, by using 3/4″ #9 security mesh, they were able to meet the security needs of the university while still maintaining the design aesthetics of the building and the area.  “We feel the product used here was exactly what the YSU had in mind and what I envisioned.”

Alternative Energy chooses Expanded Metal Fencing

A major investment in wind power will protect their customers and facilities by choosing high security expanded metal as part of their security solution.

WETT, Wind Energy Transmission Texas, is under construction and will be operating high-voltage transmission lines in West Texas as part of a state-wide program to deliver clean, renewable energy throughout the state.  The WETT transmission facilities include 6 new substations all protected by 3/4 #9 standard expanded metal.
Featuring our super-c post and rail design, the anti-cut, anti-climb expanded metal will help protect millions of dollars in infrastructure investments.  The project is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in 2013.

Expanded Metal Stops Small Creatures From Creating Big Problems

Expanded Metal Fence as animal deterrent

Electric utility substations are creating a new line of defense with Securex Expanded Metal Retro-Fit Fencing. The animal mitigation system designed by Vanquish Fencing features Niles ½”- #13 expanded metal panels and the Vanquish V-Channel Deterrent to eliminate small entry points to the substations.  The system forces small animals into an area of instability which prevents them from entering the facility and interfering with electrical equipment.
Using Niles Securex expanded metal panels; Vanquish Fencing is now able to prevent animals like snakes, squirrels and raccoons from entering the substations.  Eliminating access prevents the animals from interacting with the electrical equipment and causing outages.
Successful systems have been installed for several utilities including Entergy Mississippi, Inc. and Duke Energy where the technology has achieved an impressive track record for reducing animal-related outages.
